New Chief Executive for leading charity

The Child Poverty Action Group has announced that Kate Green will be joining them as their new Chief Executive in July 2004.

Kate comes to CPAG from One Parent Families where she has been the Director since 2000.

Lynne Berry, Chair of CPAG said: "We are thrilled with this appointment. Kate's track record, skills and experience put CPAG in a strong position to build further on its significant achievements to date".

CPAG and One Parent Families enjoy a positive working relationship and have co-operated on a range of different platforms.

Suzanna Taverne, Chair of One Parent Families said: "We will be sorry to see Kate go, but we are confident that the two organisations will continue to work closely, and together will go from strength to strength to the benefit of children and parents in poverty".
