Child poverty 2010/11 official poverty figures media briefing
14th June 2012 saw the publication of the latest official child poverty figures for the UK and for Scotland.
These figures show the number of children officially recognised as living in poverty in 2010/11, the year that the last UK government set as the target year for halving child poverty.
Please see to the right for a Scotland media briefing on trends towards the child poverty targets, measuring child poverty and the Child Poverty Act to assist with reporting on these figures. There is also a briefing from CPAG and other members of the End Child Poverty coalition clarifying and correcting common mistakes about the child poverty targets.
