CPAG criticises Shadow Chancellor's child benefit cut

The Shadow Chancellor's decision to continue to uprate child benefit at a sub-inflation rate of 1% until 2016/17 would be a real blow for families with children. A further two years  at 1%, would mean the benefit would have lost 18% of its real value (since 2010).
