Judith Paterson joins Social Security Advisory Committee

We're delighted that Judith Paterson, Welfare Rights Co-ordinator at CPAG in Scotland has been appointed to the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC) which provides advice to the Secretary of State on proposals for the amendment of secondary legislation and on general social security matters as required.

Judith will take her place on the SSAC in September and she commented:

"I very much look forward to contributing to SSAC's vital work providing independent scrutiny and comment on changes to benefits that impact so critically on the lives of low-income families."
