Scottish Government consulation on social security in Scotland

19 October 2016

CPAG in Scotland’s response to the Scottish Government’s consultation on social security (which closes on 28 October) hasn’t yet been finalised. Though we’ve published a briefing to give an overview of some of the key points we’re likely to raise. These include the need to use new ‘top-up’ power to invest in child benefit and the need to ensure benefits for carers and disabled people are adequate and fairly delivered.

We’d welcome your thoughts and comments on the briefing. Please feel free to draw on the document in your own response.
