Please note we aim to answer all letters and emails within 10 working days.
Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide direct advice to people who are claiming benefits or to their friends and families. If you are a member of the public wanting advice you should contact a local advice centre, law centre or welfare rights unit, where you can get face-to-face advice about your case. You can get information about local centres in the community pages of your phonebook or from a library. You can find your local Citizens Advice Bureau on the Citizens Advice Scotland website www.cas.org.uk.
